The 2006 Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay is a gem. It has a combination of excitement and refinement that makes it a truly multi dimensional wine. Apple and citrus in the nose is complemented by a hint of vanilla bean that is fresh but elegant. The rich creamy texture of this Chardonnay creates a mouth feel and finish that leaves you wanting more. Sue from Hollister sent us an e-mail saying, "It was great. I got some nice apple and melon on the nose. There is a nice gentle creaminess on the palette with beautiful acidity to balance it out with a nice medium length finish. I really enjoyed it."

Music Pairing: The Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay drinks best while listening to a well-played acoustic guitar.

Accolades: Bronze Medal in the 2008 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

The Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir is our signature Pinot Noir. The fruit for this wine comes from a single vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA of Monterey County with difficult soils that challenge the vines while bringing out incredible flavors. The 2006 vintage expresses earthy, floral and fruit aromas including wild berry, cherry and heirloom tomato fruit with a hint of anise, peppermint and maple spices. The French oak barrel aging lends notes of bourbon vanilla and coconut. A long finish of refined tannins completes the experience.

Music Pairing: The Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir is a magical wine and you can take it to another level with the sound of a great guitarist playing the blues.

"Our Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is recognizable by the intense color and flavors of black cherry, coffee and chocolate. The 2006 vintage is excellent."
