The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is the largest competition of American wines in the world with over 4,000 wines entered in the 2008 event, all of which were evaluated by an elite panel of more than 60 professional wine judges from across the country.

Gary Cornick, former professional musician and co-founder of Six Strings Winery comments: “We are very pleased to have our wines recognized by the judges at this prestigious wine competition. To have both of the wines we entered get selected from a very large pool of high-quality wines tells us that we are on the right track.”

Wine lovers ranging from professional to amateur tasters will have the opportunity to sample the award-winning selections from Six Strings Winery at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition Public Tasting, February 16, 2008 at Fort Mason’s Festival Pavilion.

“We are really excited about the tasting event in San Francisco, it will be an opportunity to introduce our limited production wines to a larger audience” said Iain Crabb, guitarist and co-founder of Six Strings Winery.
